How our care package company helped out during the pandemic

We Always Try to Do Our Part by Bringing Smiles to Faces!

Although The Care Crate Co. specializes in delicious care packages, tasty snack boxes, and fun gift ideas for everyone on your list, we also want to do our part in helping to enrich the lives of people in our community and country.

During the pandemic, we were presented with a few opportunities to serve in the way we know how: bringing joy through gift boxes.

Here are a few examples of the impacts we made this past year with our care packages, created and sent with love.

Helping the Food Insecure with Snack Boxes

We and our sister companies were approached on three occasions during the pandemic to donate food care packages to families facing COVID-related financial difficulties.

Our food packages, like our Microwave Snack Care Package, helped recipients make it through tough times while isolating at home.

Personal Care Kit Giveaways

During the pandemic, we promised to give away Personal Care Kits on social media while stay-at-home orders were in effect across the country. We donated a total of 18 of these care packages, which not only included delicious snack items, but also personal care items like first aid kits, gloves, antibacterial wipes, and face masks.

Sweet Care Packages for Tough Times

During the pandemic, people admitted to the hospital and other protective homes weren’t able to have as many visitors, which means they desperately needed day-brighteners.

That’s where our Candy Care Packages came in! We donated eight cases to young cancer patients and a children’s home, including to an 18-year-old with ependymoma, a type of brain cancer common in young children and teens.
